Hi there!

I was recently remembering how much stress we put our feet under and thought I'd post this very effective remedy for tired and aching feet!



Add three teaspoons of mustard powder and a handful of sea salt to a basin of hot water. Soak feet in the bath until the water gets cool.

Mustard stimulates the circulation, brings heat to the area helping to ease any inflammation or swelling. The salt softens the skin.

This is especially good for stiff or arthritic feet. Regular use can ease pain and discomfort in the joints. Mustard foot baths make a wonderful calming routine for tired feet, ideal after a heavy days shopping!

Hot Tip:

To revive tired feet and a tired spirit, prepare a mustard foot bath and place it alongside a basin of iced water. Add two teaspoons of Rosemary Herb to the cold water. Alternate between the hot mustard bath and the cold rosemary one, finishing up in the cold. Rub the feet briskly and massage a few drops of geranium essential oil in a carrier oil into the feet. Grapeseed or sunflower oil can be used.

Alternating between hot and cold will encourage lymphatic drainage from the area, stimulate the tissue, take down any swelling from being on ones feet all day and revive the whole system for a night out on the town.
