Oil and Tea of the Month for April

As Spring finally gets under way, our thoughts tend to turn to rebirth and part of this is getting our skin back in shape after the long winter months.

For April, we’re featuring our Skin Tea as our Tea of the Month, believing as we do that great skin care starts from the inside. This tea is our twist on the traditional combination of herbs used as a Spring tonic to encourage elimination and improve digestion. A potent blend of burdock, cleavers, liquorice, yellow dock, sarsaparilla and nettle, it is drunk to promote a clear complexion and good skin health.

Drink this tea three times a day as part of your daily skin care routine, infusing two teaspoons per cup of boiling water.

This Saturday is National Tea Day so what better excuse to raise a teacup and drink your heath!

Our Essential Oil of the Month for April is refreshing Grapefruit. With its uplifting and refreshing aroma grapefruit is traditionally used in massage blends to encourage detoxification and aid circulation. This sharp fruity oil is ideal for awakening and stimulating the senses and may be beneficial in treating migraines and PMT.

Dilute 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil for massage or use a couple of drops in an oil burner with water.

SKIN TEA CAUTION: Caution in pregnancy and in cases of high blood pressure.
