Essential Oil of the Month

Our essential oil of the month for February is Rosemary. Well known as the herb of remembrance due to its fantastic memory boosting qualities, this lovely fragrant herb is great for relieving stress and anxiety and helping with general mental clarity.

It’s also great for boosting your immunity, increasing circulation and alleviating muscle and joint pain with the added benefit of stimulating hair growth and helping to control dandruff. You might also want to try it if you suffer from acne and, during the summer months when the midges bite, it can prove a very effective insecticide.

To make your own natural insect repellent, mix together 10 drops each of rosemary, peppermint, thyme and clove oil and add to a spray bottle filled with water.

Our featured tea for February is Echinacea tea which is perfect for this time of year as it helps to treat infections, including colds and flu, as well as generally giving your immune system a much needed boost. All in a lovely, warm cuppa. Pop into our shop and grab yourself a bag.

If you've got any questions regarding essential oils or Bach Flower Remedies, then you can chat to our expert aromatherapist and Bach Flower Remedy therapist, Rose Morley, in our Bristo Place shop.
